My Apartment
My mom
has always insisted that her and us children share abilities to see and
interact with the spiritual world. This story takes place in Longmont,
Colorado starting in 2004 and continues today.
Frankly, I don't really know what is going on. What I do know is that I wish
that the apartment that Lisa and I looked at was the one that we got. Our
first time in this apartment was when we signed the lease, and only a few days
before we moved in. We had been promised another apartment that had a very
clean feel, but became unavailable as the signing date approached.
Upon entering the apartment I was relieved that it wasn't like our last place,
a dump. Upon going into the loft area, I didn't like this place so much. The
area around the bathroom was also haunted.
I had mostly kept my suspicions to myself, even though I had shared all of my
suspicions with my wife about our previous place. Things happen daily, but
they are mostly very subtle. Occurrences are generally of the nature that you
can blame the noises and movements on unstable flooring and neighbors.
I have seen a ghost of a WWII vet in uniform in the doorway of my bedroom. He
just looked at me, then faded as I looked at him. I thought he would have
faded when I rubbed my eyes, but he waited to insure in me the sense that he
was real. Footsteps within the hallway and stairway are also apparent in
sound, but not in sight. Ghost lights (orbs) that are familiar to most of you
can be seen on occasion, as well as one type that I have not heard of.
The new type of ghost light doesn't look like a glowing ball, but like a point
of light. They can look like a floating LED (light emitting diode) where no
LEDs are present. One particular one looked as though it were an powerful
light source. It seemed to be a point light source emitting a radiance of
light. That one I saw in the summer at around noon, and it still lightened up
the corner of the room that I was in. It drifted slowly into the wall, leaving
no mark.
I have had dream conversations with ghosts in this place, as well as
encounters with the creatures form the Grim stories. Every night a watchful
presence is in the doorway of my bedroom.
Recently I have decided to take some action. I have with me now a set of
rosary beads blesses by the Pope, and plan of making my bedroom spiritually
more protected without exertion of energy from me. (If you want to protect
yourself and all you have is yourself, you can, but it is exhausting) I will
use EVP and possibly photography to communicate with whoever/ whatever is here
with my wife and I, and then I will get a group together to bless and cleanse
the house. I will also be putting up religious artifacts around my apartment
in order to keep bad spirits away.
I recently lost my job and my father has attempted suicide several times, and
this may be what has caused depression in me, and my attraction of spirits. I
